The Huntington LibraryThe Huntington History collection is an artificial collection of photographs and text that deal with Henry Edwards Huntington, his family, and The Huntington as an institution. There are images from a variety of collections within the Institutional Archives and the Photograph Archives, and were donated or created by Huntington family members, staff members, and outside photographers. The photographs date from around 1850 to 1994 and include images of construction of the Huntington house (now the Huntington Art Gallery), the botanical gardens, the Huntington family, researchers, the Library buildings, and events.
