The Center of Concern in Washington, D.C., has offered education and leadership for the transformation of societal structures based upon Catholic social teaching. It emphasizes solidarity with those in poverty throughout the world. The Center has published a number of resources and has several ongoing projects related global development issues.

Chrism is a British organization for “Christians who see their secular employment as their primary Christian responsibility.” It offers conferences and publishes a journal, Ministers at Work.

The Faith and Politics Institute of Washington, DC, is a nonpartisan, interfaith support network for Congress and its staff. It seeks to bring theological sensitivity and reflection for those engaged in setting national social policy.

Network is a national Catholic social justice lobbying organization. Their web page includes a legislative update on pending U.S. legislation relevant to Catholic social teaching. It provides a number of ideas on what individuals and groups can do to influence social policy, especially on a national level.

The National Association for Lay Ministry is a professional organization that supports, educates and advocates for lay ministers and promotes the development of lay ministry in the Catholic Church.

This center responds to the burgeoning interest in workplace spirituality and offers news and events, research protocols, and other resources for those interested in fostering spirituality in the workplace. The Tyson Center also hosts an annual conference on faith and spirituality in the workplace.

The Woodstock Center is an independent nonprofit institute at Georgetown University that engages in theological and ethical reflection on topics of social, economic, business, scientific, cultural, religious, and political importance. The Center does research, conducts conferences and seminars, and publishes books and articles. Drawing on the Roman Catholic tradition, the Woodstock Center is ecumenically open.
