VEAP is available if you elected to make contributions from your military pay to participate in this education benefit program. The government matches your contributions on a 2-for-1 basis.

This all-purpose 20-page guide contains a wealth of information to help veterans access and optimize the opportunities they have access to and to help them succeed in the world of higher education. Topics include state-specific resources, medical services, finding your niche on campus, study skills, resources for female veterans, and financial aid (including grants and scholarships).

A good general website for education and its link to career paths. The page on veterans aid is well-laid out and user-friendly. Search tool allows for a good deal of customization.
Military.com on Benefits and Funding
This link is an in-depth, all-purpose guide for finding veterans funding for higher education. Includes branch-specific awards, tips, awards for family members, active duty benefits, other information about financing in higher education.
Non-VA General Resources
This site contains a broad range of links to primarily government and military sites with information on benefits, scholarships, state and federal aid, employment resources, educational programs, resources for spouses, and obtaining or amending service records.
