Resources for your Literature Review

The library website connects you to the scholarly research on your topic. The QuickSearch box on the library homepage searches almost everything the library has all at once. It gives you access to a lot of content that isn't available on Google. This Research guide is meant to help you get started by providing a more focused set of resources to search within the database Business Source Complete.

Search Tips

This advice for using Business Source Complete (linked above) is specific to the assigned Emerging Market Latin America Paper. Once you do a search, on the left hand side of the results page you'll see many options under "Refine Results" to help narrow it down.

  • Only show peer reviewed articles

Under "Limit To" select the checkbox next to "Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals"

  • Show the most recent articles

Use the "Publication Date" slider to select a date range. For example the most recent 5 years.

Do you want an article that says "Request through interlibrary Loan"?

If the Loyola library doesn't have access to an article that you fount you can get it through the Interlibrary Loan department, sent via email, from another library. The first time you use Interlibrary Loan you will need to create an account.
